Our store is run entirely with donated goods.  (Please read the following columns for donation guidelines.)

Memories Thrift Store spends thousands of dollars every year disposing of unusable goods and trash — precious dollars that could be spent helping those in need!  Here's how you can help:

DON’T LEAVE ANY DONATIONS OUTSIDE, DAY OR NIGHT!  Looters tear up bags and steal anything worth value, leaving us with nothing but a mess to clean up.  We are open 7 days a week; please drop off your donations any time the store is open!

CLEAN YOUR ITEMS.  We do not have facilities for washing things like toasters, blenders, cookware or dishes. 

CALL AHEAD.  If you aren’t sure about donating a particular item, give us a call and we’ll be happy to discuss it with you!

Jewellery, shoes, purses  and other accessories

All kinds of house wares

Small , clean appliances  that work (coffee pots, toasters, blenders, crock pots, irons, hair dryers, etc.)

Books, records, CD’s, DVD’s, VHS tapes; electronics in excellent working condition

Small desks, computer tables; coffee tables & side tables; working lamps

Computers, monitors, printers, fax machines

Televisions

Couches, recliners, love seats, large desks or other oversize furniture (call for info.)

Exercise bikes, treadmills or home gym equipment; skis or snowboards

Stoves, washers, dryers or other large appliances

Liquids of any kind, incl. paint, motor oil,  lamp oil, shampoo

Cosmetics and lotions

Children’s car seats, cribs, strollers, high chairs

Motorcycle helmets

Encyclopedia sets

Household goods that are dirty, broken, missing parts or not in working order
